A Virtual Points based Donation Web Platform

Challenge

A unique concept needed to be executed to provide a platform where people can donate things without the payment system.

To ensure the security and authenticity, virtual points system was decided to be integrated to the system.

The client’s vision was to provide an easy to use system to help the sellers and buyers meet at a mutual point.

Soft Tech Group worked discussed the scope of work in detail with the client and drafted the functional specifications to initiate the work on UI/UX Design. A user friendly interface with a .Net back-end platform was used to shape the entire system.

Come Donate is a Web App which allows buyers and sellers to register and exchange items and virtual points. Sellers can list their products and accept the buyers’ request against each product to proceed further where the points will be transferred from the selected buyer account to the seller account and seller will ship the product.

Buyers can earn points through different online activities and use the points to purchase the listed items on the portal. Buyers can also make requests for a specific item if it is not found in the listed products to which Sellers can respond directly if they have that available and would like to donate.

Requests are open and can be viewed by the sellers for the response. This Web App has a real-time chat system. An integrated map is available to locate the sellers and items in a specific or nearby area.
